This program connects first- and second-year actuarial science students with upper-year students in the actuarial science major and specialist programs who remember that feeling of, “What on earth is actuarial science and how do I navigate this field successfully?”
Through bi-monthly one-on-one meetings, mentors will guide mentees on relevant and timely topics such as getting started, selecting courses, major industry players, non-traditional careers, what are the actuarial exams, and more.

Timeline
This is a pilot program, starting February to April 2021. The next session will begin October 2021 (for mentees) and earlier for mentors to apply. Please check back for specific timelines, mentors are welcome to apply throughout the year for consideration in the next cycle.
