Sports Analytics Workshop

Join Aaron from the The University of Toronto Sports Analytics Student Group (UTSPAN). Review how stats is used in analytics. Using R on JupyterHub, participants will learn how to make visualizations for sports analytics projects. We will go over how to create different styles of basketball shot charts and how to animate football tracking data!

You won't need to install R because we will use JupyterHub which just requires an Internet connection and a UofT account. The notebook will be pre-coded, but they can run it on their computer to see the visualizations on their end.
