Biography
I'm a third year PhD candidate in Statistical Sciences, supervised by Meredith Franklin and Vianey Leos Barajas. My research interests lie in the development of statistical methods to analyse complex environmental and ecological data sets. Methodologically, I am interested in Bayesian statistics, spatio-temporal models and non-parametric methods. Prior to starting my PhD, I did my undergraduate and Master's degrees in Statistics at the University of Cape Town, South Africa, where I worked on functional regression models to forecast the daily levels of air pollution in Cape Town.
