Biography
Wenlong Mou is an assistant professor at UofT in the department of statistical sciences. He received his Ph.D. degree from the department of EECS at UC Berkeley in 2023. Prior to that, he received his B.Sc. degrees in Computer Sciences and Economics, both from Peking University.
Wenlong's research focuses on developing optimal statistical methods and efficient algorithms for data-driven decision-making using machine learning. Recently, he is interested in theoretical aspects of reinforcement learning, causal and semi-parametric estimation, as well as stochastic approximation.
