Biography
Chris Maddison is an assistant professor in computer science and statistics at the University of Toronto and a Canada CIFAR Chair in AI at the Vector Institute. He is an Open Philanthropy AI Fellow, and was one of the founding members of the AlphaGo project at DeepMind. Chris was a member at the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton, NJ, and did his DPhil at the University of Oxford with Arnaud Doucet and Yee Whye Teh.
