Center of Actuarial Excellence (CAE) Program
The Centers of Actuarial Excellence (CAE) program allows universities and colleges with outstanding actuarial programs the opportunity to be recognized for that achievement and to compete for grants for education and research. Our department's Actuarial Science Programs are recognized as a Centre of Actuarial Excellence under the Society of Actuaries Centers of Actuarial Excellence (CAE) Program.

Distinguished Lecture Series in Statistical Science (DLSS)
CANSSI Ontario hosts the prestigious Distinguished Lecture Series in Statistical Science (DLSS).
Established in 2000, the DLSS invites leading scientists from across the field of statistical sciences to share their expertise. The series takes place annually and consist of one general and one specialized lecture by an internationally prominent statistical or data scientist.
