The Department of Statistical Sciences is pleased to congratulate the Canadian Hydrogen Intensity Mapping Experiment (CHIME) team on being awarded the 2022 Brockhouse Canada Prize for Interdisciplinary Research in Science and Engineering. Assistant Professor Gwen Eadie and Professor Radu Craiu together with CANSSI Postdoc Antonio Herrera are members of CHIME team.
The Brockhouse Canada Prize for Interdisciplinary Research in Science and Engineering recognizes outstanding Canadian teams of researchers from different disciplines who came together to engage in research drawing on their combined knowledge and skills, and produced a record of excellent achievements in the natural sciences and engineering.
Congratulations to all the students, staff, postdocs, research associates and faculty from UofT who are amongst the recipients, drawn from DADDAA, the Dunlap Institute, Physics, CITA, and Statistical Sciences!
